Anjani is a Los Angeles based actress who is still searching for the best way to end this first sentence. Truth be told, she finds writing about herself in the third person very odd, but then, isn’t that what the modern actôr is supposed to do? Write a captivating bio for their website that reads like just maybe someone else wrote it, because they are of professional caliber and serious artistry? Regardless, she’s thrilled to have completed her first paragraph.

Growing up as the youngest in a fairly traditional South Asian family, Anjani tried her best to stay in the “actor closet”… hoping to find something else - literally anything else - to be as excited about. (Even after she accidentally booked a Microsoft commercial in college, she refused to take the hint.) Luckily, that “plan” completely failed and 7 years ago, she decided to step away from her 9 to 5 and dive head-first into this crazy, beautiful world of entertainment. She’s never been happier.

Most recently, Anjani recurred for 3 seasons on ABC’s The Goldbergs as William Penn Academy’s Home Economics teacher, Andrea Hooper (2021-2023). Anjani was also a finalist in the ABC Discovers Talent Showcase twice and has dabbled in the Improv scene (UCB), short filmmaking (Playhouse West), and treating herself to over-priced rose macarons (Ladurée) from time to time. Safe to say, LA agrees with her.
